What is a Monkey Business Retreat?
Doing the work behind the scenes, is a group of successful health coaches who frequent Costa Rica to lead retreats and vacation. Our transformative experiences in beautiful Nosara have powerfully shaped our lives. In gratitude, we have found an inspiring way to give back- both to Nosara and to the community of fellow health coaches.
Part of the allure of Nosara, Costa Rica is the unforgettable roar of the little black monkey, known as the Howler. Regrettably, these intelligent animals are needlessly killed and maimed by uninsulated power lines that line the dirt roads of the beach town. Nearly half the lines lack insulation. The cost of insulation is not cheap, but it is certainly in the reach of an empowered group of health coaches. All proceeds from the Monkey Business Retreats will go to insulate the lines and protect the Howlers.
Just as a reminder these animals should never be caught as pets and need to be in the hands of professionals who can rehabilitate them and release them back to the wild.
