The 12 Dimensions of Wellness
A Soul-Centered Self Care Course for Coaches
Whole-Person Wellness is a model first introduced by Dr. John Travis, one of the forefathers of the Wellness Movement. He was the first to design the 12 Dimensions of Wellness through which you are about to journey and explore.
These 12 dimensions will form a “Wellness Wheel” like no other you are about to explore. I first came upon this tool when searching for a model of wellness to use with my health coaching clients. When I experienced the power of this holographic coaching experience, I thought it would be the perfect vehicle to utilize in helping coaches explore their own Soul Centered Self Care.
I invite you to embark on this journey and be totally self-ish in its intention: To explore which of these dimensions are most powerful for you, how they interact to support one another and how you can utilize this tool to troubleshoot and problem or concern including the reduction of stress or improvement in any area of your own self care.
How to make the most of this course for yourself:
Congratulations! You have launched a journey that will change the way you look at wellness and your self-care forever.
Here are some steps to help you navigate this journey and these 12 dimensions of wellness:
This course will take place on two parallel tracks:
1. Your own use of the online Wellness Inventory Tool. You will receive a one- year subscription for the use of this powerful tracking tool. We will guide you along the way.
2. Our exploration of the 12 dimensions of wellness. In each module you will get informational and experiential exercises to dive in and learn more about the definition and significance of each dimension and how to work with it independently or holographically.
STEP ONE. You will receive authorization to take the online inventory. Allow yourself 45 minutes to an hour to do so.
STEP TWO: Review the Guide to Interpreting your Results and Next Steps.
STEP THREE: You will receive a daily email guiding you through the 12 dimension educational course. There are always alternative suggestions for assignments, reflections etc.
STEP FOUR: Complete the assignments on line for complete credit for completion of the program
STEP FIVE: Please be in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns. You can do this via email or on the Facebook Group.
